Working with 'traitors'
The betrayal that led to the Pakatan Harapan government's downfall 16 months ago is still a sore point for many as the country continues to struggle with the Covid-19 pandemic.
But as much as it hurts, Bangi MP Ong Kian Ming has proposed a ceasefire for the next six to 12 months by way of a "Covid-19 moratorium agreement".
This would put political uncertainty over who has or doesn't have a majority on the backburner so that everyone can focus on combatting Covid-19 and healing the economy.
It may sound like wishful thinking, but speculation has been rife that a confidence and supply agreement (CSA) is in the works or has been signed to ensure that a fresh general election is not trigerred soon.
Ong is already working with the federal government as the Selangor coordinator for Operation Surge Capacity, which aims to ramp up vaccination efforts in the Klang Valley.
A CSA, which is an agreement between both sides of the political fence, is already in place in Perak.

Hartal probe aimed at media
Police looking into the strike by contract doctors are zooming in on alleged trespassing by the media at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (Maeps) Covid-19 quarantine centre.
The media covering the strike there on Monday are accused of entering a protected area without permission.
The probe has been criticised after doctors at Maeps were questioned until almost 4am yesterday.
Police said this was to accommodate the night shift.

Vaccines and faith
While the people anxiously await their turn to get vaccinated, speculation is rife in Parliament that one or more MPs had refused to be inoculated because of their faith.
Johor Bahru MP Akmal Nasir urged House speaker Azhar Azizan Harun to reveal who this might be.
According to Azhar, there are four MPs who have not been vaccinated for "certain reasons".
Jakim had in January said the use of Covid-19 vaccines was in line with Islamic law.
