Klang Valley flooded again
A heavy downpour triggered major flash floods in the Klang Valley once again, causing fears that there will be a repeat of the devestating deluge in December.
The flash floods yesterday inundated several major roads, almost completely submerging cars and motorcycles caught in the traffic.
The heavy rains also triggered several landslides, with a daycare in Kuala Lumpur being among those affected.
TNB was also forced to shut down power stations in 40 areas.
The flash floods come days after flooding on the peninsular’s east coast began showing signs of easing.

Muda and Harapan: It's complicated
Muda and Pakatan Harapan are having a complicated relationship in Johor.
While the youth-based party is making waves on social media, down on the ground, Harapan leaders are doing some handholding to introduce Muda candidates to less tech savvy voters.
Muda secretary-general Amira Aisya Abd Aziz - who is contesting in Puteri Wangsa - finds the association with Harapan, and DAP especially, to be positive.
However, Muda's vice-president Lim Wei Jiet is more cautious about this, saying that preconceived notions about Harapan and DAP could hurt Muda.
Meanwhile, in Larkin - where Muda is squaring off with PKR - the party is finding itself without any help as DAP and Amanah pledged to back their coalition partner PKR.

MCA picks on DAP to win back Chinese vote
MCA and DAP are at it again, catfighting in Johor in an effort to secure Chinese votes.
In the most recent flare-up, MCA president Wee Ka Siong had sought to challenge DAP on Chinese education issues.
Wee initially challenged former deputy education minister Teo Nie Ching, only to then say that his true target was DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng.
However, nothing came of this as MCA pulled the plug on the debate, claiming they failed to secure a police permit.
Teo mocked the perceived MCA retreat, prompting the latter to lodge a police report against her.
Chinese votes could be a major factor in the Johor polls.
One constant challenge that any party vying for Chinese support must overcome is getting the community - especially youths who live out of state - to come and vote in the first place.
