By-election in Terengganu soon
PAS has chosen not to appeal a court decision nullifying its GE15 win in Kuala Terengganu.
This means that a by-election must be held for the Parliamentary seat.
The party reasoned that it did not want to leave Kuala Terengganu voters without an MP pending the appeal process.
PAS is also hoping that the by-election will be held at the same time as the six state elections.
The Election Court had previously found there were elements of bribery in the distribution of financial aid from the state government, prior to GE15.
PAS' Ahmad Amzad Hashim - who may be fielded for the seat again - won the seat last year with 65 percent of votes cast.

Bumiputera student quotas status quo
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is maintaining the status quo on bumiputera student quotas.
He said this was to "balance" the number of students in higher learning.
However, he said the government must also find ways to help non-bumiputera students who have good results.
