Trouble brewing in Sabah
A political storm is brewing in Sabah.
Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi - who is also the Umno president - is flying to the land below the wind to resolve the tensions.
GRS, Sabah Umno, and Warisan are all partners in the federal government.
However, locally, things have not been so merry.
Warisan and Sabah Umno leaders aligned to state chief Bung Moktar Radin are planning to team up against GRS.
Sabah is only due for state elections next year, but tensions - if unresolved - may lead to early polls.

No respite from Putrajaya drama
The drama over purported plans to overthrow the Anwar Ibrahim administration persists.
In the latest development, blogger-in-exile Raja Petra Kamaruddin claimed that the opposition has secured 120 statutory declarations to form a new government.
However, not all of the claims add up.
Interestingly, not long after the allegations surfaced, Johor’s Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar informed the public that he would not be granting any audiences until after he is crowned the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on Jan 31.

‘Ants’ triumph over carmaker
Months of agony for an unfortunate car owner came to an end after Malaysians bandied together to support her on social media.
S Nagakanni brought a Perodua Bezza last October, only to have the engine seize the same day.
Perodua later reportedly claimed there was “sugar” in her engine.
While the carmaker claimed to have offered Nagakkani a buyback, the car buyer retorted that there had been no black and white to confirm the offer.
That was until social media pressure mounted against the carmaker, with Nagakkani lovingly referring to her supporters as "ants" brought together by her tale of a candied engine.
