Putting in perspective what I wrote on PKNS field

Dear YB Datuk Teng Chang Khim,

On the outset, let me declare that I will make a correction and offer an apology if I had erred in my comments. This can be evidenced if you look at my past records.

Your letter is addressed to both The Sun and Malaysiakini .  It refers to another article by KW Mak which I have no right to and thus, will not address on the points raised.

As for my comments:

I was physically present at the hearing when Faiwos “confessed” that Noriaini had asked her to do the changes.

I mentioned that Noriaini was NOT censured and was promoted as YDP of Kuala Selangor District Council. I stopped there and never inferred that you or Selcat is responsible for it.

My commentary NEVER inferred nor intended to infer any wrongdoing or weakness with Selcat. On the contrary, I am fully aware of the functions and powers of Selcat.

It was just my sarcastic observation that in the civil service, people get promoted for dereliction of duties.

On the PKNS land and its status, I never inferred nor mentioned anything on Selcat. Other than that, the commentary read in totality and entirety will show that I had never at any instance made any disparaging remarks about your goodself or Selcat.

I hope the above puts the matter in the proper perspective on what I wrote. As for Malaysiakini and Mak, I cannot reply for them.

Thank you.
