As part of an ongoing effort to improve the water distribution system, a replacement work to upgrade equipment will be carried out on April 30, 2016 from 4am until 8pm.

Regrettably, consumers in parts of Klang, Shah Alam and Kuala Langat will experience temporary water interruption during the replacement works. However, every effort will be undertaken to expedite the works.

Water supply will resume between 12 hours to 72 hours, depending on the distance of the premises from the reservoirs.

The affected areas and expected recovery of water supply are listed in Appendix A.

Consumers are advised to store sufficient water supply during this temporary water interruption period.

In order to minimise the inconvenience to consumers in the affected areas, Syabas will be sending advance Notice by hand to affected premises, transmitting Notice via ‘WhatsApp Messenger” groups, Twitter (Puspel), Facebook (puspel), broadcast over www.syabas.com.my and ‘mySYABAS’ smartphone application as well as providing special delivery of water supplies to hospitals, dialysis centres and infirm customers.
