Weeks before MCA convenes its extraordinary general meeting to decide on the tussle between Ong Tee Keat and Chua Soi Lek, the latter's infamous sex DVD has resurfaced for the third time and were allegedly distributed among the central delegates and BN component party leaders.

Speaking in Penang last night, Chua said that he has more or less expected his opponents to repeat the same smear tactics employed in the past.

When asked how he feels about the incident, Chua simply replied, "never mind."

"If they keep using the same trick, people will realise that this is just a method employ to discredit me."

However, he has not yet decided whether to lodge a police report on the matter.

Ong fingered in DVD comeback

Chua also said that many central delegates members were unhappy with the redistribution of the DVD and were pointing fingers at Ong's faction.

He asked "who would have so much of time to do such a thing and who else keeps all the central delegate address?"

"Even you (journalist) don't have the addresses, am I right? They (the central delegates) consider this a mean trick."

"Who else has interest in the EGM other than me?"

The former MCA deputy president who was sacked in August 28, also regrets the infighting in the party has sunk so low that his opponents keep using the sex scandal to discredit him.

But since this is the third time it is being re-distributed, he felt the central delegates were already getting bored with it.

The first time it was redistributed was last Oct during the MCA party where Chua made a dramatic comeback.

The second time the DVDs made an appearance was when Najib took over as prime minister and announced a cabinet reshuffle in April this year.

Chua further claimed that a postal address indicated some of the DVDs were sent out from Bukit Mertajam, Penang, where he suspects the perpetrators came from.

‘Not done by me'

According to Chinese press reports, Chua's DVDs started to resurface and were distributed among the central delegates and other BN component party leaders very recently.

According to the reports, quoting an anonymous source, the whole thing was staged by Chua himself who was trying to anger the central delegates and influence the result of EGM.

Otherwise, it could also be a plot to accelerate MCA's infighting and to drag other BN component parties into the conflict.

The source also believed that, Ong's faction won't use such smear tactics which will backfire and in fact create sympathy for his opponent.

Chua also rubbished the allegation that he staged the whole incident.

He then alleged that the MCA's recent problems were rooted in Ong Tee Keat's (right) own acting.

"For examples, he accused me of starting a new party, then engaging with underground elements and collecting RM100million."

"RM100million is needed to overthrow an emperor, not an MCA president because (the former) needs such a great amount of money."

"Such lies are so illogical, he spoke alone and he"syok sendiri", without realising such remarks have tarnished the party image."

Chua was responding to press queries after attending the Asia Chinese Chess Tournament welcoming dinner at Penang Red Rock Hotel.

The event was organized by the MCA Bukit Mertajam division chief Lau Chiek Tuan who supports Ong openly.

However Lau denied the distribution of DVD was related to his division and claimed he himself never received a copy of the DVD.

He said, it will be difficult task to find out who is the culprit behind the distribution of sex DVD.
