“We agreed with Lim's suggestion that matters involving Perak DAP should be handled internally,” read the statement.

“Thereby we will not be making any public statements or answer press queries on this issue.”

According to the duo, Lim is expected to convene a meeting with Lim Kit Siang in attendance, when Kulasegaran returns from his leave in Nepal.

NONE The statement comes after the disgruntled party national vice-chairman Kulasegaran ( right ) posted a challenge on his blog - and on Malaysiakini ’s comments to a related story - for an open debate with Ngeh “on the polices and issues he had done especially when we had Perak for 11 months.”

“Please just tell me the place and time, I am ready to ‘tell all’,” said the Ipoh Barat MP.

Friction had been building up in Perak DAP between Kulasegaran and Ngeh and state secretary Nga Kor Ming leading to a meeting with top leaders on Friday night to iron out differences.

Following the break down of the ‘peace talks’ a frustrated Kulasegaran announced that he would hold a “tell all” press conference, but cancelled the next morning at the advice of the party leadership.
