Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak said he is not afraid to debate with PKR de facto l eader Anwar Ibrahim, but suggested that the latter solves the "personal problem" of his sodomy charge before meddling in other affairs.

NONE "Why should I be afraid of debating with him? I'm prime minister, I have all information. If I expose them... adoi ... he will get a fever," quipped Najib to the laughter of over 7,000 Felda settlers in Felda Chemplak, Tenang today.

"Do I need to debate with him?" asked Najib, who received a resounding "No!" from the animated crowd.

Anwar had challenged Najib, who is also finance minister, to a debate on economic policies, after the premier had trashed Pakatan Rakyat's 100-day reform pledge.

Najib also NONE rebutted the accusation that government is victimising Anwar through the sodomy trial.

"It was not the government that lodged the police report. It was Saiful who lodged the report,” he said in reference to Anwar's former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan ( left ).

“Anwar said Saiful was his tea-boy. I don't know what tea that was. Maybe it was some kind of special tea,” Najib quipped suggestively, drawing another round of laughter.

“This is a personal problem. His personal pkr congress 281110 anwar ibrahim problem. Please solve your personal problem before doing other things.”

Najib also recounted Anwar’s failure to ta ke over Putajaya on Sept 16, 2008, as vowed.

“Now it is already 2011 but it has not happened, yet. He said 30 BN MPs would jump to him so that he could form a new government. We waited and waited but nothing happened.

“Instead, five MPs of his own party turned Independents!"

The premier, who has been minister in charge of Felda affairs since 2004, was on a whirlwind visit to the Tenang constituency today.

He visited three settlements, drawing over 10,000 settlers who also came from Johor and Negri Sembilan.

He arrived in a helicopter this morning and visited Felda Chemplak Barat, Felda Chemplak and Felda Tenang.

After lunch, he attended an Indian Malaysian rally to address some 500 residents. His last stop was at SJK(C) Labis where he met with leaders from local Chinese guilds and associations and officiated the new classrooms of the Chinese primary school.

Banners and buntings showing support to BN were put up in these areas, along with Umno and BN flags.

Apart from photos of Najib and Johor Mentri Besar Abdul Ghani Othman, photos of Najib's late father and second prime minister Abdul Razak Hussein - who insituted the Felda programme - were also displayed.

NONE Several banners carried by second and third generation Felda settlers, read 'Opposition -  don't disturb us', 'We reject the opposition' and 'We are the privileged ones', indirectly responding to PAS' claim that young Felda settlers tend to support the opposition.

The banners were also put up at the entrance to the settlements.

The organiser distributed a 15-page colour booklet titled '105 Reforms by the Prime Minister', detailing all the efforts Najib has made since he took over the Felda portfolio.

Najib slammed the opposition for spreading "lies", including the claim that Felda is on the verge of bankruptcy.

NONE “We have allocated RM1.6 billion for the development of Felda this year. Currently Felda has RM15 billion in assets and over RM5 billion of shares that can be liquidated.

“That's why we are not afraid. They said we will be bankrupt, and we sued them in court!"

It is the opposition, he claimed, that would make Felda bankrupt by going ahead with its plans for the land development scheme.
