your say Restless_Native: Lest we all forget, Anwar Ibrahim is not Pakatan Rakyat and Pakatan is not just Anwar; it is the sum of the parts. Even if Anwar is taken out of the picture (gone to jail) it does not mean the end of Pakatan.

However, that is the picture the BN administration wants to paint. Did you seriously expect something substantial from the minds of kampong boys?

As Alexander the Great once said to his men on the eve of his many battles eastwards, "When I fall, only a Macedonian has fallen...".

Therefore, if Anwar falls, only another valiant Malaysian has fallen; Pakatan will not fall because of Anwar. If anything, it will make it stronger.

GBH: Raja Petra Kamarudin (RPK), if you are sincere about saving the country, please name the best man fit to be PM or to form a new government, rather than provide your open-ended guesses.

If you fail to name the person; it implies that you support PM Najib Razak for the job, period.

2lang: If Anwar is not fit to be PM, then is RPK saying Najib is? Our support for the Pakatan movement is not about Anwar, but against Umno's corruption and their unashamed exploitation of the country's wealth.

Whatever Anwar is, it does not clear Umno of what they were and have become.

Thinking: Raja Petra, we the rakyat will decide if Anwar is our choice at the next GE. You are entitled to your opinion but please don't assume it's the same as ours. Your timing in attacking Anwar just benefits BN.

Okay, so some of us are armchair critics. But were you at the Bersih rally?

Zz2xx: Who does Raja Petra thinks he is? Where did he get his "90 percent" figure? Is he God almighty? His problem is he craves for attention and when Pakatan leaders ignore him, he pouts and uses the Umno media to launch his attack.

It is a matter of time he will be back in Bolehland and hailed as a hero by Umno.

Ruben: Raja Petra is another one of our has-beens like Mohd Ezam Nor, Chandra Muzaffar and Zaid Ibrahim. I have stopped reading Malaysia Today blog as Raja Petra has clearly lost his principles and sold himself off.

His writings are pathetic in which Wikileaks seems to be his main source of information. His MLCM (Malaysian Civil Liberties Movement) is in shambles.

The worst thing about him is that he is so full of himself and when it comes to Raja Petra the letter ‘I' is the most important.

He seems like he was the most tortured person in Malaysia when he talks about himself, Kamunting and the ISA for umpteenth times. Well to me, he is really pathetic.

Kgen: Raja Petra is worse than other turncoats like PKR's Ezam, Chandra and Salehuddin Hashim. At least these turncoats had no pretensions that they were fighting for democracy, they made it clear that they are now aligned to Umno.

Raja Petra has become a venomous snake who does Umno's dirty work but pretends that he fights for the opposition.

Bender: Raja Petra's U-turn, to me, is of no consequence. People who used to respect and admire him would all be shocked and stunned by his sudden reversal. There may still be some hardcore loyalists who would follow him blindly but the numbers are negligible.

The typical Umno type or the Felda folks were never a fan of him anyway and already had their minds made up, so, I see no major damage has been, or could be, done by Raja Petra by publicly selling his soul to Umno-BN.

His opinions published widely in the MSM (mainstream media) won't have much effect, at least not towards those who can think clearly. In fact we should be glad to see Raja Petra go before he could do more damage later on.

Vijay47: Raja Petra, I do not need your approval as to which category I fall into. I am a nobody, neither a hero nor a warrior, but I do know that I will not be numbered among scum, fakes, hypocrites, prostitutes, turncoats or traitors.

I don't care a hoot what you have become or why you did it - that is for you to ponder during those sleepless nights when you wonder, "Was it really worth it?"

When you pulled that TV3 stunt, I still gave you the benefit of the doubt. But your ego has pranced on your high horse once too often when you now tried that childish logic that we are the ones to be faulted since we cannot stomach 'our side' getting whacked.

No one denies you your right to any opinion you hold, however much we may disagree with it. But we do curse you for your act of shameless betrayal.

What boggles the mind is that you actually expected us to stand with you again. I suppose the apple does not fall far from the tree, being part of local royalty must be a terrible fate to face.

Swipenter: Raja Petra nowadays is like an old record repeating the same issues over and over again, but with a new twist and a new turn most of the time, just for the sake of spinning. His comments have been boring and tiresome to read for quite awhile now.

James1067: Pete (RPK), could you explain if Anwar walked into a trap, why did it took Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan two days to lodge a police report? If Anwar was ‘trapped', then everything would fall in place, the doctors would have been waiting to take the necessary evidence.

Cala: Given the fact that Raja Petra has not substantiated his disparate views that put opposition leader Anwar in bad light, we shall let the future to take its course whether Anwar will turn out to worthy of our support (as most believe so), or not (as Raja Petra wants us to believe).

But how do you explain the 180-degree turn for Raja Petra? Obviously as reported, he has been under tremendous pressure from the Umno-led BN regime ever since he led the campaign to unearth several incidents relating to the dark side of Najib and his regime.

As a public figure, his views do command some respect amongst the people. If my memory serves me right, more recently Najib jumped to clear his own tarnished image by quoting Raja Petra's good words.

Is Raja Petra abandoning his earlier days' conviction of fighting for moral ethics and good governance? To me, as of now, he has placed personal interests over public interests.

Wira: I feel sorry for RPK. Haris Ibrahim has announced his resignation as MCLM president, no thanks to the interview given by RPK to the mainstream media. It's not easy to be away from the country and commenting on our political situation from the outside.

I guess many must have unsubscribed from RPK's twitter feed after his latest bombshell to register our disappointment with him. I did.
