He called on both sides to resolve their differences through the proper channels within the party organisation.
Shuhaimi ( left ) said he felt it was his obligation to reiterate that the menteri besar, state exco and even the political secretary have to respect the decision made by senior party leaders.
According to him, the Selangor PKR viewed the differences seriously and believed such open spats should not be resolved internally.
"The party will not compromise on this as such practices violate party ethics. I respect the prerogative of the menteri besar to appoint his political secretary. However, the views of party leaders should also be taken into consideration by the state government.
"We must remember that the present government was formed by the hard work, sweat and contribution by PKR grassroots," said Shuhaimi.

It was reported last week that Faekah came
under fire
over the issue of disbursements of the Geran Selangorku. Azmin also said he had
heard complaints
from Selangor civil servants about her.
Faekah has conceded that there was a fallout between her and Azmin, and that his supporters are bent on getting rid of her.
Shuhaimi, who is also the Sri Muda assemblyperson, said constructive criticism should be aired through the proper channels. He described actions such as publicly attacking a party leader was "immature and unwise".
"There is a need for the present matter to be handled properly and behind closed doors. I am prepared to arrange a meeting with both sides to identify the problems," he said.
He added that he hoped the party and its Pakatan Rakyat partners would be united in facing Umno, which was always harping on internal differences within the opposition coalition.
Shuhaimi called for the combination of Azmin's vision as the party election director and Selangor MB Khalid Ibrahim's stout administration of the state in confronting their common enemy in Pakatan's march to Putrajaya.
