Umno fights on two fronts - against PAS and PKR

YOURSAY 'The mere fact that Muhyiddin picked on PAS, although dismissing the party a mere minnow in Pakatan, actually reveals the opposite.'

Umno drops sledgehammer on 'minnow' PAS at GA

your say Not Confused: Absolutely correct, Umno deputy president Muhyiddin Yassin - Umno is the dominant party within the BN coalition.

The problem is, the other component parties have zero influence and are totally unable and incapable of adequately representing the wishes, aspirations or rights of the minorities in Malaysia.

This is precisely what Umno and its religiously fanatical zealots want. Whilst BN governs, their concept of Malay supremacy will always make the minorities totally impotent, consigning them forever to be regarded and treated as second-class citizens in their own country.

This concept has to be consigned to the waste bin of Malaysia's history or the nation will self-destruct through the stresses and strains of unashamed racism.

Pemerhati: This is a gathering of the most powerful faction of BN, which is stealing at the rate of a billion ringgit a week.

Leading the pack in the amount of billions stolen is most probably Dr Mahathir Mohamad, the constitutional Malay whose ancestors hail from Kerala. Not far behind would be the other top leaders of Umno.

We have, of course, read about the dealings by Wanita Umno chief Shahrizat Abdul Jalil's family regarding the cows and condos, now from carpet trader Deepak Jaikishan, we hear about the land scam by another Wanita chief.

Previously we used to read about former PM Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's and son-in-law Khairy Jamaluddin's crooked dealings with Patrick Lim and the Monsoon Cup.

We have also read about Muhyiddin and Stamford Holdings when he was in Johor and almost everyone knows about PM Najib Razak and his huge commission from the purchase of Scorpene submarines as well as Sarawak CM Abdul Taib Mahmud's stolen billions.

It is difficult to find anyone in the Umno leadership who is not stealing in a big way and/or is not tainted with some sort of scandal.

Vgeorgemy: In a way, Muhyiddin's speech is reassuring to Malaysians. Under Pakatan Rakyat rule, no party will ever become dominant enough to threaten the well-being of the rakyat.

Muhyiddin demolishes MCA's concern on PAS' dominance in the Pakatan coalition.

Hermit: Recently, the deputy higher education minister has offered a very candid advice .

Umno should imitate a medicine seller by the roadside, who highlights the good points of his medicine rather than harping on the bad points of his rivals' products.

Possibly Umno have no more good points after the ‘chief devil' had reigned for more than 22 years.

Mahashitla: "Umno does not need to feel sinful or guilty for being on our platform of struggle," said Muhyiddin.

Muhyiddin is playing the same old tune. He speaks like minister Nazri Abdul Aziz's proclamation that he was not gay when confronted with the issue of conflict of interest.

He behaves like Dr M, who will use the '3M' (Majority-Malay-Muslims) as shield to defend the massive plundering of resources by top Umno leaders and their cronies.

Helping Malays and Malaysians to lift them out of poverty under the NEP is a noble endeavour in any nation-building. Plundering and stealing of resources is not.

What PAS Tok Guru Nik Aziz Nik Mat said of Umno having deviated from Islam is but the truth. Umno leaders will continue to come out with all sorts of creative ideas and schemes to get rich quickly, without much consideration for the suffering of the rakyat - the latest being NFC (National Feedlot Corporation), Langat 2 project and the AES (Automatic Enforcement System).

Umno won't change and it is our duty to support the honest 'minnow' PAS which Muhyiddin despised.

Ferdtan: The mere fact that Muhyiddin picked on PAS, although dismissing the party a mere minnow in Pakatan, actually reveals the opposite. There is a hidden fear - the fear of resurgence of PAS that are now being led by competent and moderate PAS leaders.

In the past Umno AGMs, whether in Youth or Wanita wings, the target was only aimed at one nemesis, Anwar Ibrahim and his party, PKR.

Now it looks that the danger to Umno has doubled and it is from two fronts - Anwar with his PKR, and PAS with its able strategist, deputy president Mohamad Sabu.

Muhyiddin's analysis of PAS performance in the past is all wrong - PAS' support then came solely from the Malays, but now with the acceptance of the party by the non-Malays, it is a different ball game.

The non-Malays, especially the Chinese who are willing to vote for PAS, have crossed the Rubicon - even to an uncertain future. That is the how the minorities in this country feel about BN, especially Umno.

Moontime: I wonder if the air-conditioner is on full blast when Muhyiddin speaks as he is so full of hot air. Attacking PAS as a mere minnow in Pakatan shows the arrogance and utter stupidity of a leader who is afraid of losing in the next GE.

Muhyiddin is unfit to be a leader in the 21st century and the more he opens his mouth, the stronger the evidence supporting it.

Muhyiddin is so used to having it his own way that he couldn't understand the concept of compromise, agreeing to universal values and welfare for all. This is clearly the result of years and years of corruption of the mind, body and spirit.

We are absolutely sick and tired of your arrogance and domineering attitude, thinking that only BN can rule Malaysia forever. Regime change is clearly overdue in Malaysia.

Oh, and better watch your back as the daggers are starting to come out. Do not fear PAS, you are your own worst enemy. Mark my words: Umno will be destroyed from within.
