State Health, Women, Family and Community Development Committee chairperson Dr A Rahman Mokhtar is in stable condition in Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ) in Kuala Terengganu.

His deputy, Mahdi Musa, said A Rahman was put to sleep by the hospital authorities for treatment.

“I visited him at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at noon and found that his condition has improved. Let us pray for his quick recovery.

“He is always accompanied by family members and allowed only limited number of visitors,” he told reporters after a briefing by Kolej Tesdec at Riyaz Heritage Resort & Spa in Kuala Terengganu today.

A Rahman, the Kuala Besut state assemblyperson, was rushed to the Besut District Hospital for breathing problem last Thursday morning before transferred to HSNZ.
