Pakatan 'self-delusional' over audit findings, says MCA

Loh Seng Kok (left) described Pakatan’s criticism of financial mismanagement by the federal government, as pointed out in the report, as a case of the “pot calling the kettle black”.
“The Auditor-General’s Report shows that under Pakatan rule, the Selangor State Investment Centre (SSIC) had within three years spent the balance of the government funds by issuing three to four months’ bonus to staff,” Loh said.
“The SSIC-declared bonus for employees from 2009 to 2011 is equivalent to three years’ expenses, totaling RM887,620. The Auditor-General’s Report also highlighted Pakatan’s mismanagement and weak implementation, too,” Loh added.
He said the Selangor state government should investigate the findings of the audit report pertaining to the state administration through its Select Committee on Competency, Accountability and Transparency (Selcat).
The state government’s failure to do so, he added, would only prove that “Pakatan only knows how to talk and blame others”.
Loh also questioned whether Pakatan could rule the federal government, given that it has its own shortcomings in its state governments.
