PARLIAMENT PKR strategist Rafizi Ramli is to reveal more on a company receiving a grant of RM100 million from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (Mosti) on the prime minister's recommendation after Parliament rejected his questions on it.

Rafizi, who is the Pandan MP, had asked both the minister in charge, Ewon Ebin ( right ), and Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak whether they were willing to sign statutory declarations that the documents Rafizi had previously exposed on the grant were fake.

 

Among the documents is a letter from the Prime Minister's Office to Ewon attaching minutes of the PM's meeting with the officials from the said company, NSE Resources Sdn Bhd.

 

Both the questions were rejected by parliamentary secretary Roosme Hamzah, who said the questions contained "own thoughts" and were not based on facts.

 

"I now consider that the documents I have revealed to be authentic, as the prime minister has maintained a prolonged silence on this matter and has also refused to answer in Parliament," Rafizi asserted.

Rafizi also said that the an individual behind the company is a “serial grant recipient” who has received several other grants from the federal government in the recent past.

He said that he was willing to be sued and be dragged to court by both the company and the government if the documents he had revealed were fake.

“I will also expose new documents that will prove that this company is unqualified to receive the grant and offers no value for the research and development (R&D) projects it plans to undertake,” he said.
