Rafizi Ramli (PKR-Pandan) today shot back at BN for claiming that his party and counterpart DAP were bullying PAS, saying that Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak was a bigger bully in his treatment of MCA.

 

"If we can to talk about bullying, ask Pekan (Najib) first because Pekan was able to go to the MCA annual general assembly, the (country's) second largest party, and warn the MCA leadership not to ask anything from the government if the Chinese community don't vote (BN) and if they can't get support.

 

"That is bigger bullying compared to the Oktoberfest issue," he said.

 

He was responding to Noh Omar (BN-Tanjung Karang) ( right) who again accused Pakatan partners of bullying PAS after PKR and DAP representatives attended an Oktoberfest event opposed by the Islamic party.

 

Noh said that the representative attended the beer festival despite PAS submitting a memorandum expressing unhappiness about the event.

 

"Isn't that a bullying?" he said.

 

Earlier, Annuar Musa (BN-Ketereh)  had likewise accused Pakatan of bullying PAS, highlighting DAP's suspension of PAS' councillor Iszuree Ibrahim in the Penang Municipal Council, for criticising the state government.

 

However, Rafizi when debating the budget speech had criticised Annuar ( right ) for trying to be a "hero" but failing to stop bullying in his home state of Kelantan where its people is deprived of oil royalty by the federal government.

 

"If he wants to be a hero then he needs to stop this bullying (of Kelantan)," he said.

 

However, Noh who appear dissatisfied again accused Pakatan of bullying of PAS.

 

"PAS called two of its (rebel) state assemblypersons (in the Selangor menteri besar crisis) as 'broker' and 'barua', but DAP called them heroes, this is what we call bullying.

 

Rafizi then snidely replied that it is because of such antics that BN remains the opposition in Selangor.

 

"We want to talk about matters concerning about the rakyat but you keep raising this issue," he said.

 

Rafizi in his speech, also urged Najib to follow through with BN's election manifesto to reduce car prices.

 

"Now that the subsidy for petrol has been cut, there is no need to maintain such high taxes on cars," he said.
