Representatives of two construction companies were fined a total of RM85,000 by the Sessions Court at Balik Pulau yesterday after they pleaded guilty to failing to ensure safety at their project site, resulting in the death of one person and injury to four others in the collapse of the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah Bridge ramp in June last year.
