Cartoonist Zulkiflee Anwar Ulhaque will launch a new comic book on Valentine's Day, featuring his pet topic: The prime minister's wife Rosmah Mansor.

Zulkiflee said Rosmah was chosen as the main character for the book, titled 'ROS in Kangkong Land (RIKL)', because of her "dominance" over Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.

"She provides ideas for me and she is very 'cartoonable'. Each time she opens her mouth, I get an idea. So this book is specially dedicated to her.

"I will present her an autographed copy to show my gratitude," Zulkiflee, who is better known as Zunar, said in a press statement released today.

Zulkiflee, who is currently being detained for three days by the police for a post he made on his Twitter account, will be selling the book at the Taman Jaya lakeside in Petaling Jaya between 10am and 6pm on Saturday.

This is Zulkiflee's 17th book. Thus far, seven of his publications have been banned by the federal government while the books 'Cartoon-O-Phobia' and 'Conspiracy to Imprison Anwar' are being investigated for sedition.

After the launch, the latest book will only be sold online as Zulkiflee anticipates that the authorities will curb attempts to sell the book in stores.

"I hope my fans and supporters can support me by purchasing this book since all of my books, including RIKL, will not be able to be sold in any bookstore due to huge pressure from the government.

"Buying the book not only helps me financially, but also helps to spread the message to more people," he said.
