Awkward moment at S'gor MCA protest
A Selangor MCA protest to mock Selangor DAP over the hudud row took a comic turn when protesters were given a mirror as a gift.

A Selangor MCA protest to mock Selangor DAP over the hudud row took a comic turn when protesters were given a mirror as a gift.
Initially, the intention of the protesters was to hand a letter stating that Selangor DAP would pull out of Pakatan Rakyat, for Selangor DAP chief Tony Pua to sign.
The letter was received by Selangor DAP committee member Edry Faizal Eddy Yusof.
Not to be outdone, Edry whipped out a wall mirror, complete with a red ribbon, as Selangor DAP's "gift" to the MCA members.
The 10-member Selangor MCA delegation awkwardly accepted it and was made to pose for photographers.
"Please stare at yourself in the mirror before making demands from us.
"MCA should resolve its problems with Umno on hudud first.
"This mirror, it's cheap, so it's not important. What is important is that they are able to look at themselves," Edry said.
'Let's protest together'
Selangor MCA publicity chief Raymond Low told reporters later that DAP has reneged on its "promise" during their last general election to block PAS from pursuing its Islamic state agenda.
"Things are getting more serious now. Why is DAP still silent and not divorcing PAS?
"We urge Selangor DAP head Tony Pua to announce breaking-off of ties with Selangor PAS in order to put pressure on PAS," Low said.
He said Pua must show "courage", just as how Sabah DAP and Sarawak DAP did.
Should Selangor DAP hold a protest in front of PAS headquarters, Selangor MCA would join them.
"We are just waiting for a time and date," Low added.
