Those intending to participate in the Bersih 4 rally this weekend but have failed to get their hands on the protest's official T-shirts will have one last chance to do so tomorrow.

According to Bersih secretariat officer Mandeep Singh, the movement will receive its final stock of 6,000 T-shirts tomorrow, which will be available for purchase at RM20.

This was after the reform group’s signature yellow T-shirts were sold out yet again today, bringing total sales so far to about 35,000 pieces.

Mandeep ( photo ) said today alone, 5,000 T-shirts were sold to members of the public at Bersih's headquarters in Petaling Jaya.

"I have never seen so many people queue outside the Bersih headquarters," he told Malaysiakini when contacted.

Mandeep said the number of people flocking to the Bersih headquarters had even resulted in traffic congestion on the road outside.

He added that some people had to be turned away as Bersih's stock finished quickly.

However, Mandeep said those who came were supportive of Bersih and were not angry that they had to be turned away.
