Anina Saadudin, who filed a legal suit against Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak over the RM2.6 billion donation issue, said that if the party's secretary general Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor does not retract her letter of expulsion from the party within three days, she will take legal action against him too.

She detailed her demands in a four-page notice to be handed to Tengku Adnan today.

"With respect, I ask Datuk Seri (Tengku Adnan) to retract and cancel his letter within three working days from the date of the letter.

"If he fails to do so, I hold the right to take action against him for breaking party rules and failing to protect and defend Umno's assets to the point that US$650 million went missing from Umno's accounts,” she said in a press conference at her lawyer's office in Kota Damansara, Kuala Lumpur today.

On Tuesday, a letter by Tengku Adnan ( photo ) terminating Anina's membership surfaced with Umno executive secretary Abdul Rauf Yusoh affirming that her membership had been 'automatically revoked'.

Anina said to date she had yet to receive a letter of termination even though the news hof it ad gone viral on social media.

Anina said the only letter she had seen were those circulated on the Internet and which she pointed out were flawed such as having the wrong date or address.

She added her apparent termination was also against natural justice as she was never given a chance to defend herself.

Anina said she was merely carrying out her duty as a party member in filing the lawsuit against Najib.

The lawsuit seeks to recover US$650 million from a purported US$681 million (RM2.6 billion) 'donation' into Najib's personal bank account after whistleblower site Sarawak Report claimed the amount was remitted overseas.

"The lawsuit was against an (alleged) wrongdoer which is Najib and not just a matter concerning the party or my membership.

"It is strange that the (alleged) wrongdoer has yet to face any action but I, who am merely carrying out my constitutional responsibility as a (party) member, has supposedly been sacked.

"Is this the type of justice in Umno?" she questioned.
