Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali said he is unaware of any effort between PAS and Umno to form a unity government in the state.
"I don't know […] I don't know anything (about this)," he told reporters at the lobby of the Selangor State Secretariat (SUK) building in Shah Alam today.
Besides, he added, he does not meddle in the affairs of other parties.
"I don't meddle. That's the politics of other parties," he said.
He was asked to comment on former PAS vice-president Husam Musa's claims during a speech at Pasir Mas in which he claimed that PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang has tried to form a unity government with Umno in Selangor.
When pressed on this issue, Azmin said to refer the matter back to Husam.
"You have to ask Husam. I don't know. I was not privy to this information. So you'll have to ask Husam," he said.
In the video of Husam's speech which was uploaded onto the Internet this morning, Husam claimed that Hadi admitted to inviting two or three PKR state assemblypersons to join PAS to form a coalition state government with Umno in Selangor.
Even though he did not state the period when this supposedly happened, it is believed to be during the Selangor MB crisis last year when PKR begun efforts to drop then menteri besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim from his post.
