IGP calls Charles Morais 'coward' for hit-and-run SD

Lies, Lies & More Lies: Whether Charles Morais is coward, brave or smart is a very subjective thing and all depends on which side of the table we are sitting.

One thing is for sure, the truth will always emerge at the end. Kevin is his blood brother. For Charles to allege conspiracy in the murder of his elder brother is not easy and requires a lot of courage.

A lot of people would have just swept things under the carpet and let life carry on. But for Charles to have made an SD (statutory declaration), he must have a good reason.

Khalid should understand Charles’ feeling. Wait if the same thing happens to your own family members.

As Charles says, he received the pen drive from Kevin. The best thing for Charles to do is make a copy and send it to the inspector-general of police (IGP).

When he is back in United States, he should release its full contents so the whole world will know what it is inside the pen drive. Coming out with SD is not convincing enough for people to believe him.

Gaji Buta: What if based on circumstantial evidence, a person is sure that a crime has been committed but does not have 100 percent proof? Just keep quiet? Does he have to provide all the evidence and proof as well?

The first step will be to interrogate former AG Abdul Gani Patail about the alleged draft charge sheet and if this was shown to Kevin.

Hope: Hit and run? Hardly. Maybe, this is the level of trust most people had when it comes to the PDRM (Royal Malaysian Police).

Do we expect Charles to stay when he could be "hit"? He is a successful businessman and you do not become successful business if you are stupid.

Unbiased: It is very puzzling to hear the immediate and spontaneous reaction of the AG and IGP to the SD by Charles.

This allegation by Charles may be utter rubbish but shouldn't the IGP and AG conduct more investigation before making statements to discredit it?

Doing otherwise would give the public an impression that they may be bias.

Beeep!: The man's got a lot of business waiting for him back in the States. Besides, would IGP's men promise him protection. Charles is not a coward, he is just not a fool, Mr IGP.

Fair&Just: What kind of human holding such high office, taken an oath of responsibility and integrity, and acted in the contrary? Inhuman?

Iiiizzzziiii: Why would the younger brother disputed the SD in the first place? In disputing it, Richard is being perceived to be defending something or someone very powerful.

What will Richard get out of it? Why would he get so upset in the first place and now is washing dirty linen in the public?

The SD did not implicate him in anyway. Is he a true patriot or did he do it out of love for the PM?

Something is not right here and if he is trying to divert attention from the PM and his gang then it is very obvious someone is pulling the string behind the scene.

The ultimate question is why is it the PM’s political career is plagued by one scandal after another? In the history of Malaysia, this is a first for a PM to be so well-known for all the wrong reasons.

Unbiased: The fact that Richard is capable of condemning his own blood brother openly and publicly tells a lot about the character of this person.

What is so unusual about Charles being left out of Kevin's will? Being a government servant and an upright and honest one as he was portrayed to be, Kevin could not have been a rich man.

Therefore, his asset is surely limited. He knew that Charles was a man of substantial means. Hence leaving him out of his will was completely proper and logical.
