Penang DAP decided today that Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng need not go on leave or resign, after he was charged with corruption today.

 

This is because the charges are politically-motivated, the committee decided at an emergency meeting on the matter today.
 

"The state DAP committee guarantees that the state government operations will continue as usual and it will not be disrupted by the recent charges against Lim," said state DAP chief Chow Kon Yeow.
