Prior to their dismissal from government, Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak offered to let Muhyiddin Yassin and Shafie Apdal resign from cabinet, said Abdul Rahman Dahlan.

"Before they were sacked, Najib offered to let them resign from cabinet honourably.
