Former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad said he was willing to cooperate with the newly-formed task force to investigate Bank Negara's losses at the foreign exchange market in the 1990s.

This was on condition that authorities apply the same level of scrutiny on Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's handling of the 1MDB controversy, he said.
