The diplomatic row between Malaysia and North Korea must not be exploited for political mileage, said Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) president Muhyiddin Yassin.
"We hope all parties will not use this diplomatic row as a political tool to advance their domestic political agenda," he told a press conference in Petaling jaya today.
Muhyiddin urged the government to be extra cautious in handling the situation with regard to the 11 Malaysians who have been barred from leaving North Korea.
"The safety of the 11 Malaysians is of paramount importance at this moment.
"The government must also exercise great restraint and wisdom in dealing with the North Koreans," he added.
