Disappointed with the Election Commission's policy to not distribute draft electoral rolls to political parties, Perak PKR representatives today took a photostat machine to the EC office in Ipoh to make copies of the documents.

Simpang Pulai assemblyperson Tan Kar Hing said he and others carried the copier machine, a scanner, four boxes of A4 papers, as well as a generator to power the devices, to the EC office, where the draft electoral rolls were displayed.

According to Tan, he and his team had requested for the documents to be copied outside the headquarters compound, but this was rejected by EC officials on duty...
