Manufacturing sales up 10.7% in October

Malaysia's manufacturing sales, the country's largest foreign exchange earner, expanded by 10.7 percent in October year-on-year to RM45.6 billion, according to data released on Monday.

Sales in the sector was slightly higher by 0.8 percent in October from September 2006, the Statistics Department said in a statement.
For the first 10 months to October, total manufacturing sales rose 11.1 percent to RM423.7 billion from the same period last year.
