St. John’s International Secondary School held a joyous Graduation Ceremony for the Class of Year 11’ 2025 on 21st November, 2025. For this occasion, the school invited a few honourable VIPs, including Y.A.M Tunku Dato’ Ahmad Burhanuddin Bin Tunku Datuk Seri Adnan, one of SJIS Board of Governors, and Ms. Anne Rajasaikaran, CEO of Edumaax. The event was also attended by a total of 136 graduates along with their families and friends.
Held at SJK (C) Chung Kwo Hall, the ceremony commenced at 7:30 P.M. and lasted until 8:30 P.M. The objective was to celebrate their Year 11 students who have already completed their school year and will be venturing into college and university life, whether locally or internationally.
This ceremony marked a significant milestone and achievement for the graduating students. It was to celebrate their hard work, resilience and improvement, both as students and individuals.
In her speech, Ananya Upadhya, the student valedictorian, reminisced about their student life in SJIS from the past years.
“I would like to thank our teachers and administrators for being patient guides who sparked our curiosity. We will forever be connected as the St. John's class of 2025,” she said with a smile plastered on her face.
Although the students were celebrating, a glimpse of sadness appeared in their eyes. Many happy memories, meaningful conversations and bittersweet feelings were created. A special bond that can only be formed by the innocence of youth.
Even then, they will surely cherish all the beautiful moments and use them as a stepping stone for their next adventure.
To the SJIS class of 2025, we would like to wish all the best for your future. We really look forward to the amazing things you will achieve in your journey!
