After living for 50 years in the vicinity, the residents of Petaling Jaya Selatan are crying foul over the Selangor government's promises to provide them with decent homes, especially after the racial clashes of March 2001. Apart from not been given the low-cost houses promised, those who had bought apartments claim the developer has short-changed them.

Dr Mahathir Mohamad's announcement yesterday that he will not seek re-election in the next national polls made front-page headlines in the media today. But Keadilan says it does not deserve such excessive publicity. Instead, the party said Mahathir should tender a formal resignation effective next October to Parliament and the King as soon as possible.

The feuding factions in Snap is now in a fix after receiving a letter from the ROS stating his intention to de-register the party.
