Bring Out The ‘G’ in You With McDonald’s GCBTM

Petaling Jaya, 20th September 2013 – What does ‘G’ mean to you? For some, it could be Glamorous, Genius, Groovy or even ‘Gempak’ but for fans of McDonald’s it means that the GCBTM is back! The wait is finally over, as fans of GCBTM can finally savor their favorite tender chicken thigh grilled to perfection, paired with groovy char-grilled sauce on a bed of gorgeous iceberg lettuce nestled between two golden, toasted warm sesame seed buns.

“Since its debut 3 years ago, the GCBTM has garnered a huge following amongst Malaysians who eagerly await its return to our restaurants. The GCBTM, which features a whole chicken thigh, is a great example of the unique menu offering that we constantly strive to innovate at McDonald’s in our efforts to ensure customer satisfaction. And in addition to providing our customers with great-tasting food made of quality ingredients, we also uphold our commitment to Halal as all of our products are 100% Halal-certified by JAKIM and other Halal authorities approved by JAKIM,” said Stephen Chew, Managing Director of McDonald’s Malaysia.

The GCBTM returns this year from September 26th onwards at all McDonald’s restaurants for a limited time only. To celebrate its return with a bang, 12 selected McDonald’s* restaurants all over Malaysia will be selling only GCBTM from 19th to 25th September. From 26th September onwards when the GCBTM is launched nationwide, the 12 McDonald’s restaurants will continue to sell GCBTM and resume selling products from the normal menu.

A photo contest on McDonald’s Malaysia official Facebook page will also commence on 26th September, where participants can win 1 month’s worth of McDonald’s meals, which means that winners’ meals for the next 30 days at McDonald’s will be complimentary! For details of the GCBTM McDonald’s Malaysia Facebook contest, log on to www.facebook.com/My.McDonalds

The McDonald’s GCBTM is available as an ala carte menu item and also as part of the G meal which comes with Onion Rings and the G McFizz.
