The Francis Udayappan saga takes another twist today with the family's lawyer accusing the police of dragging their feet despite a clearance from the attorney-general.


The human rights lawyer has chosen not to co-operate with police over reports he has lodged, demanding independent investigations instead.





The family of missing police detainee G Francis Udayappan now have an opportunity to establish the identity of a body that has been found.

This is to compel the human rights lawyer to provide information on allegations he had made.

Ten years ago when the state government acquired a portion of their land, they were promised a shoplot. But now they accuse the current menteri besar of reneging on this deal.
