Is the gov't even capable of evaluating and picking GLC leaders?

LETTER | 'In my opinion, Mahathir has got a bee in his bonnet about Khazanah.'

I know we have repeated this so many times that saying it until we are blue in the face is no longer a fashionable thing.

I refer to the latest ‘hot topic’ to have emerged as reported here. However this is quite a normal practice in corporate Malaysia especially in government-controlled entities.

I have written about this before but the instances are happening more and more now.

I am alarmed and saddened to see the growing number of people being arrested for insulting someone or another.

While the outward support and the zeal for taking part in the latest Bersih demonstration may have dropped just by looking at the turnout, I would dare to add that the turnout probably does not tell the full story.

Just about everyone (apart from the ruling party) is sceptical and dismissive of the move to legislate political funding and I believe they are very right in doing so.
