Do we no longer care which are gov’t and which are party matters?
I have written about this before but the instances are happening more and more now.
As each day passes , government and party seems to have been intertwined and those who are in positions of authority nowadays can’t even be bothered to mask their intention and it is being done blatantly and openly without any fear of censure.
The latest is the Special Affair’s Department’s (Jasa) plan to bring pro-party website news direct to everyone mobile as reported here.
Jasa is a government taxpayer-funded entity and there should not be partisan and should not use taxpayer monies to champion party matters. This won’t be the first time Jasa has done such things as well.
Apparently PR1MA launched some low-cost housing project at the Umno general assembly carnival.
Is this launch for Umno members only? Of even if it is meant for bumiputera only, surely not all bumiputera are Umno members and shouldn’t this launch by a company funded by taxpayers’ funds been done at a neutral non-party function?
Like I said, there are more and more examples of party and government lines being blurred.
Talking about lines being blurred, can the public have the full details of the sale of the Putra Bus Terminal to Umno as owned up to by the DBKL mayor? The public should know the terms of sale, how the valuation was done and the mode of payment.
