Reading Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad's criteria for being selected the first Malaysian astronaut, I was excited.

"If they are fit, intelligent and have the right aptitude...." he said.

I've got all of that.

"He can be an academician, an ordinary person or a military person. Anybody can be trained but the person must have the minimum qualifications"

I reckon I got some of that. I'm not a military person though but I reckon I have the minimum qualifications and I think I have the brains and brawn to quickly gain the military physique and psyche too.

Before I go sending off my application, there is just one other question: do I need the 'know who' qualification too?

And what about that other qualification: the ' kulit -fication'? Might as well tell me now before I go thumping out my CV!
