The foul-worded MCA poster affair reveals a deeper-seated problem than just a technical mistake.

MCA has been ruled by too many English-educated leaders who have no deep understanding and appreciation of the Chinese language other than what Chinese movies and soap operas are teaching them.

That is why MCA can push through its '2-4-3 solution,' without remorse and force Chinese-stream primary school children to be study duplicated materials in English and Chinese against the rationally-argued objections of Dong Jiao Zhong.

The foul words concerned were something like 'his senior woman's relatives.' While the phrase itself is innocuous enough, the real stink is in the unspoken words following the spoken phrase.

But of course, MCA leaders cannot and care not to understand these cultural nuances of the Chinese.
