If we see human rights protection as a universal value, then the reminder of China Ambassador Huang Huikai on the red shirts’ planned rally is within the scope of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights and a reminder to the Malaysian government to protect the safety of Chinese tourists.

Malaysia in the past was actively voicing out against various international issues such as Muslim genocide in Bosnia, Rohingya refugees in Myanmar, Moro rebellion in the Philippines, Pattani separation in Southern Thailand, occupation of Palestine in the Middle East, Singapore Malay alleged ill-treatment by the PAP government, etc.

How on earth BN government easily forget that they have interfered on so many domestic affairs of other nations? Practicing double standards on non-interference policy is self-insulting on Khairy Jamaluddin’s intelligence.

Why was Khairy crying like a baby to accuse China’s ambassador of interfering in Malaysia’s domestic affairs when he merely touched on an attempted riot threat in Petaling Street by Jamal Mohd Yunos?

Human rights violation on its citizens by any government is no longer a domestic affair under the UN Human Rights Charter. Let’s say if the Sri Lankan government supporters intimidate Malaysian citizens in Sri Lanka with a riot, Khairy would be the first one holding a protest at the front gates of the Sri Lankan embassy.

Only those racists know “siapa makan cili rasa pedas” when they were foiled from inciting a riot in Petaling Street, which may harm Chinese tourists and also Chinese Malaysian traders.

Besides, Huang had merely expressed hope that Malaysia would remain united, prosperous and harmonious. Is this expression of goodwill interfering in Malaysia’s domestic affairs?

Maybe Khairy is expecting a disunited, backwater and chaotic nation?
