Indonesia, please accept our apologies

Truly Malaysian

The recent incident involving the assault on the Indonesian karate referee has got such widespread attention. This is what patriotism is all about. Indonesia feels for her son of the soil no matter what creed, religion, race or affiliation he is. The whole country is with him for the injustice caused.

Dear people of Indonesia, most Malaysians are humane and decent people and we apologise for this isolated incident that has caused so much ill-will. This I believe is the desire of the humane Malaysian people.

The president of Indonesia has enlightened us in standing by the Indonesian public and addressing the issue at hand. I and other Malaysian alike hope that his support for moral responsibility is for the Indonesian society and nation and not to leverage on the political front as it always happens so often in Malaysia.

Hear it from us, we the Malaysian public, truly apologise to what had happened to karate referee Donald Peter Luther Kolopita and really hope such an incident does not happen ever again.
