Early this morning BBC World Service carried an item on the present state of politics in the Middle East and I thought a statement made by one of the sheikhs there quoting John F Kennedy would be most apt at this time for all Malaysians to consider, especially the government of Dr Mahathir Mohamad:

"Those who make peaceful reformation impossible make violent revolution inevitable".
