Premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad slammed the media for reporting on issues which he said made a person under suspicion of a wrongdoing guilty before being proven so by the courts.

Can someone enlighten me as to the difference between what is being written now and what was quoted and what we all saw on televison when Mahathir, as prime minister, did the very thing he is now slamming the media for, and acted on his beliefs before his former deputy Anwar Ibrahim was found guilty or for that matter charged with anything?
