Let reason rule

I have many Muslim friends. We have been together for more than 20 years because we never imposed our beliefs, convictions, opinions on each other. It is when one person starts strutting around because of his/her holier/better-than-thou attitude that religion and culture clash and friendships break.
God's greatest gift to man is the power of reasoning. . .the faculty to choose. It is when religion becomes the be-all and end-all that religion negates reason.
Without the ability to reason we bring ourselves down to the level of the animal kingdom.
