Rewards for 'frogs' like Ezam

vox populi small thumbnail free 'Apart from coming out of the woodwork to attack Anwar whenever a by-election comes around, a lot of us are not really sure what other currency Ezam has to his name.'

I deserve to be senator, says Ezam

Phra Ong Chao: Ezam Mohd Nor, no one is 'attempting' to discredit you with the reward allegation. It is clear as day and as such, no one needs to attempt anything here. It may be true that you are the only Malaysian to have gone to jail to go against corruption, but I do hope that you remember whose corruption you were against that landed you in jail.

Dr Mahendran Markandoo: Ezam, you definitely deserved it as you stood so low for your master. PM Najib Abdul Razak put you there so that you can bring out all the lies against PKR. Please do not waste the rakyat and Parliament's time with all your rubbish and diversions.

Pukalenthi: Nowadays, kataks are getting rewarded. You jump from PKR to Umno then talk bad about your former boss because you were not rewarded by your former boss, so you talk good about your current boss because he rewards you.

Al: Apart from coming out of the woodwork to attack Anwar whenever a by-election comes around, a lot of us are not really sure what other currency Ezam has to his name. Maybe having a real job will disprove our misconceptions. Personally, I'm not holding my breath.

Inspector Closseau: How can a person who swore on the Quran not to rejoin Umno (during his time as PKR Youth leader) become a senator and get paid by our hard-earned money?

Ellis Kurniawan: Ezam, why do you still refuse to answer where the six boxes of evidence against the government are?

Penang CM queried over choice of resort manager

Disgusted: IGP's (Island Golf Properties) profits after tax plunged from RM2.559 million in 2005 to a loss of RM1.799 million in 2006 and another loss of RM868,473 in 2007 when Gerakan under Umno was ruling Penang.

After Pakatan Rakyat took over, profits after tax of RM730,160 and RM206,875 in 2008 and 2009, respectively, were attained. The results speaks for itself. Admit you were a failure when you governed Penang corruptly.

The: It is good for Gerakan to question the Pakatan government about any questionable contracts or deals, and insist that Pakatan give clear and transparent answers to the voters.

In the same way, Gerakan should also question the BN government about their questionable deals, such as the decision to surrender two oil blocks in Limbang to Brunei. Gerakan should also insist that clear and transparent answers be given to the voters.

Louis: Mark Ooi, KBP (Kampung Buah Pala) was sold for peanuts and yet you kept your big gab shut. Seberang Perai Municipal Council's extravagant expenditure was not on your radar. But now you suddenly awaken from your long slumber and start to find fault with Lim Guan Eng.

Newdawn4pg@wordpress: Gerakan has nothing better to do than being a nuisance party in Penang. Koh Tsu Koon and his cohorts will not dare to challenge what Perkasa has to say but has all the time in the world to talk about transparency when during their reign in Penang for the last 18 years, transparency was not what they practised.

Shamala case: Objection raised, decision postponed

Teresa Kok: Dr M Jeyaganesh cannot subvert the rights inherent in a civil marriage by unilaterally using powers he now has in his new incarnation as a Muslim to assume authority over his children who are the product of a civil union.

He has to undergo divorce proceedings in a civil court and be guided by the decisions of the civil court as a result of the marriage annulment.

It is as clear as daylight that he would have no authority to convert his children to Islam if he had followed proper legal procedures. Unfortunately, his wicked actions which have been abetted by the Syariah Court have yet again given Islam a rotten name.

Darrel Damian: I believe the mother should be granted guardianship of the children and the children should have the right to convert again when they reach 18 years old.

Kgen: The Federal Court is chickening out from giving a decision in this case. There is no reason why the court cannot proceed in the absence of the children and their mother. It is not "an exercise in futility" as claimed in another news report.

The whole country is waiting for their decision which will affect many similar cases and future cases. By using a lame excuse not to decide, the Federal Court is playing politics instead of interpreting the law.

Gen2: The Federal Court should put aside Dr Jeyagesh's objections and continue the hearing. There are issues of constitutional law and national interest which need to be clarified once and for all to prevent future heartaches and racial tensions.

These issues override the lame excuse of S Sharmala being in contempt or missing from Malaysia. To delay the hearing based on the weak excuses is just putting your head in the sand and pretending that the problem does not exist.

French lawyer fears no threats in Scorpene probe

Sekigahara No Tatakai: Joseph Breham, please help us to dig up all the dirt in this case and let the truth surface. Most Malaysians are eager to get to bottom of this case, suppressed as it is by the authorities.

Geronimo: Breham, your case may not be a direct investigation into the Altantuya Shaariibuu murder, but it is still better than nothing, because sooner or later, you will help us to connect the dots. We await your findings.
