Padang Serai parliamentarian N Gobalakrishnan appears to be courting disciplinary action against him by refusing to reply to the show-cause letter PKR issued to him on Jan 4. 

NONE In a defiant response on his Twitter today, Gobalakrishnan ( right ) said, "Why must I reply to the show-cause letter? PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim and the party must answer my questions first. I won't stop until they answer."

    

Gobalakrishnan, when met at the launch of former PKR leader Zaid Ibrahim’s new party Kita , claimed that he could not meet the Jan 17 deadline as he only received the 45-page letter on the same date.

PKR on the other hand has claimed that the letter was sent to Gobalakrishnan on Jan 4 via registered post and that the Jan 10 deadline was extended to Jan 17 to allow him time to respond to the lengthy query.

It is understood that PKR will now summon the MP to a disciplinary hearing following his increasingly bitter public attacks against the party and its leaders.

NONE The former PKR vice-president has been on the warpath against the party, and particularly Anwar, on Twitter for weeks now, claiming that the party had neglected the Indian community.

This followed the appointment lawyer N Surendran as vice-president, whom Gobalakrishnan claimed was ill-equipped to represent the Indian community because of his lack of fluency in Tamil.  

The parliamentarian has also blamed Anwar for the closure of a Hindu temple in Bukit Gasing, Petaling Jaya.
