Faekah accepts PKR advice to 'zip it'
Faekah Husin, the Selangor menteri besar's political secretary, will “adhere” to the advice of the PKR leadership not to issue statements on her boss' position if Pakatan Rakyat wins Putrajaya.
Faekah Husin, the Selangor menteri besar's political secretary, will “adhere” to the advice of the PKR leadership not to issue statements on her boss' position if Pakatan Rakyat wins Putrajaya.
According to
Sinar Harian
, she has refused comment after being advised to seal her lips by Selangor PKR deputy chief Zuraida Kamaruddin and state party secretary Shuhaimi Shafie.
“I was advised by (former PKR deputy president) Syed Husin Ali not to issue any statements in response (to the Selangor PKR leaders),” Faekah (left) was quoted as saying.
“This is because Syed Husin has already checked on the matter with (Selangor PKR chief) Azmin Ali and (PAS secretary-general) Mustafa Ali. So I will do the same; no need to comment,”
Zuraida and Shuhaimi had on Oct 6 issued media statements
advising Faekah
to communicate more with the state party leadership and not make statements attacking party leaders.
Faekah had earlier questioned the intentions of Azmin (left) , who was reported by Sinar Harian as saying that Selangor MB Abdul Khalid Ibrahim will be appointed federal minister if Pakatan wins the general election.
Azmin's purported statement, which he has since denied, had also ruffled Mustafa’s feathers.
Khalid, however, took it in his stride by saying that he believes that Azmin had meant to say that there is no shortage of leaders of ministerial quality in Pakatan.
