Nik Aziz should go, says Hasan Ali

vox populi small thumbnail Ferdtan: Now it is the time for PAS deputy mursyidul am (spiritual leader) Haron Din to come out in public whether he stand united with his chief. It seems that Jati president Hasan Ali 'favours' the deputy.

PAS is being attacked by an outsider, so will Haron allow this? If he does not come out to express support for Nik Aziz Nik Mat, he is no better than Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin who obviously is keen to take the post of his boss.

In the final lap of the race to the election day, PAS has now become the main target by Umno. The salvos had already started with former deputy president Nasharuddin Mat Isa, National laureate Shahnon Ahmad and now former Selangor PAS chief Hasan.

We should expect more attacks to come, not from Umno as they had not being effective, but from the traitorous insiders and ex-PAS members.

We just hope that the PAS ulamas are more political savvy to recognise such attacks were merely to break up the unity within the party.

Righteous: Hasan Ali should not be given space in any media to preach his twisted views. If he had his way, there would have been a holy war in Malaysia already.

Mahadevil: An outcast of PAS is now telling PAS what to do. If you (Hasan) still love PAS, reapply for membership admission, but not without apologising first.

Wira: If Hasan shares the ideals of Umno so much, why not join Umno and share the spoils of corruption?

Fair Play: Hasan, no doubt you must have been a ‘parasite' because PAS has removed you in order to prevent you from tarnishing their image. You still don't get it?

Mushiro: Hasan was the first to talk to Umno to form a Umno/PAS state government in Selangor after the 2008 general election. Hasan later tried to sabotage the Pakatan Rakyat Selangor government by bringing up many unnecessary issues.

After he was thrown out of PAS, Hasan went on a nationwide roadshow to discredit Pakatan and PAS but he failed miserably. So now Hasan is still trying to do what he can to ruin PAS and Pakatan. The truth is Hasan is a spent force who is not even wanted in Umno.

Bootsie: This man calls himself a Muslim. Well, Muslims are a polite lot and don't call their fellow countrymen "parasites". But this man does just that so it is up to readers to decide what kind of a character this man bears.

Ksn: Hasan, you were thrown out by PAS for your mad ways. So why are you giving advice, uncalled for, to Tok Guru (Nik Aziz) to quit. You are unfit to walk on the same ground the Tok Guru walks.

Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak does not even dare reveal the source of the cash because it is kickback money. In other countries, Najib would have been asked to step down for being so arrogant.

Small but determined crowd at Bersih 2.0 concert

Anon: All you big time readers and commentators, where were you? Only 800? Bersih has and always will be an Anwar Ibrahim tool and good Malaysians know this.

If they were really neutral, than they would have had 130,000 like Malacca Chief Minister Mohd Ali Rustam's son's wedding .

JBGUY: To the detractors of Bersih, shame on you for not wanting a free and fair elections. Many Malaysians are tacit supporters of Bersih but we don't have the guts to stand up to BN which would unleash the PDRM (Royal Malaysian Police) on the innocent rakyat.

We don't love this government, in fact. we down right fear it. To the Bersih members, "Keep up the good work." History will show your contribution to a just and democratic society for Malaysia.

Ferdtan: It may be a smaller crowd but at least it gave more opportunity for the participants to mingle with the VIPs who were present at the fundraising concert. Most took the opportunity to take photographs with their favourite idols.

They included the iconic Bersih co-chairperson A Samad Said, who came in early, and Pakatan leaders such as Nurul Izzah Anwar and Tony Pua. Others were Tian Chua, Ronnie Liu and Cynthia Gabriel of Suaram.

Anonymous #18452573: Perhaps it wasn't properly publicised. Perhaps people are a little tired of so many call to arms and mobilisations. Perhaps many have already gotten the message and have already decided. Perhaps it is time to talk to the people and ask them what else can Bersih do.

Bystander: Like many of my friends, I was not aware of the event at all. I am upset with myself for missing out.

GreyGoose: It was a pity the weather was not on the organiser's side. But, I am sure there will be many more events to be held by Bersih 2.0 before the 13th general election (GE13).

Righteous: Everything that Bersih sells to raise funds should be available online so it does not need to depend so much on these events. A simple merchandise site is all that is needed. I would have gone had I known about it.

KSD: The rain, the Nike run and so on kept many away from what was ultimately a non-crucial event, yours truly included.

But those who think the fire wanes can do so at their own peril. When a large crowd is crucial to the cause, the supporters of democracy will be there.
