A Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) spokesperson said this was the situation outbound the city to the north at the Jalan Duta toll plaza as well as the south at the Sungai Besi toll plaza.
“As for the Karak toll plaza (traffic to the east coast), traffic is picking up but traffic was still reported to smooth as of 6.15pm,” he said when contacted by Bernama.
Meanwhile, Plus’ Twitter account reported that an accident occurred at 6.18pm at Km283.0 of the North-South Expressway (between Nilai and Seremban) which further compounded the congestion but returned to normal after the vehicles were cleared.
Up north, traffic was also reported to be picking from Juru to Sungai Dua since 6.30pm.
