DAP rep tells why mosquito 'better than Umno'

Unlike Umno, an Aedes mosquito, whose bite can cause dengue, is colour-blind and sticks its snout into people of all races and does not care about their political leanings.
This is perhaps the most bizarre criticism of the ruling party, which has come under fire due to the racist remarks hurled during its recent general assembly.
According to DAP’s Sekinchan assemblyperson Ng Suee Lim, the Aedes mosquito possesses greater spirit than Umno despite its bite being potentially fatal.
“This Aedes mosquito is great because it is better than Umno. It is not a racist. It bites Indians, Malays and Chinese.
“It bites the government (ruling politician) and it bites the opposition (politicians). It bites everyone,” he said drawing laughter from the media personnel covering the Selangor state assembly sitting.
“This mosquito has transcended racial barriers. That is why I say this mosquito has great spirit, it is only when it bites that it is not good, people can die,” he added.
Ng raised this issue when suggesting an amendment to the motion for the state government to take drastic action to curb dengue in Selangor.
