Kelantan PAS happy playing kampung politics

YOURSAY ‘Putrajaya does not benefit them, so they play their own game.’

PAS' PM of choice drops a hint

Sodo-Mee Rospork: PAS is, and always will be, an obsolete party - which if left to implement the dreaded hudud law, will definitely be putting Kelantan even further behind the other states than what it is now already.

One just has to witness the horrific destruction that have befallen Kelantan as a result of the floods. Most of the losses and damages could have been minimised or averted, had houses and properties been built on stronger foundation and materials instead of wood, planks and stilts.

It is mind-boggling that even in our so-called “modern day Malaysia”, houses can simply be washed away and swept aside by floods.

PAS should take cue from how Penang is being governed. Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng has transformed Penang into a robust, fast-growing economy, and he has done more to wipe out corruption in six years compared to what the previous BN-ruled Penang has done in 50 years.

Seriously, if PAS still wants to stay relevant, they have to get rid of all those with an outdated Taliban mentality and start afresh with a new breed of modern professionals.

Chris Wong: I don't know why Terence Netto would bring up Ku Li, who is a has-been and talks more than acts. I am sick of grandstanding by Ku Li and others like him.

All that talking from a safe distance, contributing little to the struggle for fairness and equality in Malaysia.

Ku Li can keep on talking, and still he affects nothing. Terence has got his analysis wrong on the influence that Ku Li has on PAS and Umno.

Fair Play: Chris Wong, be patient. There are a few other also-ran who want to remain relevant, and we know who they are. Some have a very limited shelf life left.

In these hard times, everyone needs extra income. Terence is doing what he has to do.

Aside from that, why give PAS the power that they do not really possess? They only represent their members, and not even 100 percent too. Likewise, the same goes for Umno.

Now, a third force by the name of Group 25 , which truly represents all moderate Muslim Malaysians, has emerged. Together with their brethrens from other communities, they are the future of our nation.

ByebyeBN: Kelantan PAS has its own agenda, which differs from the national PAS.

Putrajaya does not benefit them, so they play their own game. They are happy playing with their kampung politics.

Aziz Bin Kader: Nik Abduh, if after the hudud law has been implemented and people are still involved in crime, can we say that God's law is wrong or that PAS does not know what God really wants?

Ex-MP flays 'immature' MIC over flood remarks

Cocomomo: Former Teluk Intan MP M Manogaran, this is expected from MIC as it is a party of clowns and hooligans with low quality leadership.

Ksn: Agreed, it was a silly and childish statement by MIC. What did they do for the Indian community in the last 50 years or more, other than betraying them?

Dont Just Talk: MIC should first look into its own backyard - like when the Cameron Highlands had been affected by massive landslides while MIC president G Palanivel was its MP.

MIC should not only take people for granted, but instead work towards the upliftment of the poor, illiterate Indians in the estates.

From Penang: MIC is absolutely right that the Kelantan PAS state government is useless.

A simple example can be seen at the time when people had been suffering from the flood, yet the hudud-loving Menteri Besar Ahmad Yakub said he was not able to come out from his home because his house had been flooded .

The MB then refused to be blamed for the flood disaster and continued to give out stupid excuses.

Although, MIC and Manogaran may not be any better than the "useless" Kelantan PAS...

Waktamnoko : Why worry about a has-been party about to be deregistered? Why flog a dead horse?

MIC may become history in a few days’ time. Manogaran should do something better than to worry about them.
