Ali Tinju to be charged with sedition, says lawyer
Malay Armed Forces Veterans Association president Mohd Ali Baharom is expected to be charged under the Sedition Act for making a racially-charged speech during the Low Yat Plaza incident on Sunday.
Speaking to Malaysiakini , his lawyer K Ragunath said Mohd Ali, or better known as Ali Tinju, will be charged at Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court later today.

Meanwhile, pro-Umno blogger Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris (photo), also known as 'Papagomo', who was also arrested after the incident, is still under police remand, according to his lawyer Ahmad Shuaib Ismail.
Meanwhile, inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar also confirmed to Malaysiakini that Mohd Ali will be charged in court today, while Papagomo will be remanded one more day.
He said Bagan Umno division chief Shaikh Hussein Mydin may be released in the evening or tonight.
Police arrested Papagomo, who once operated the notorious papagomo.com blog, on Tuesday night.
He was arrested for spreading false information about the brawls that had occurred at Low Yat Plaza in the Bukit Bintang area.
Prior to that, police arrested Mohd Ali also in connection with the clashes near the mall.
